The Maples Monarchs Soccer Program was started over a decade ago with the goal of providing a fun experience and exercise for your children, as well as teaching soccer skills and good sportsmanship. We are a member of the FC Northwest Youth Soccer Association (FCNW) and the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA).
There are close to 500 neighborhood kids playing in our various soccer programs, ranging in age up to 18. We've had both indoor & outdoor Recreational league champions, and we have also been very successful at the various tournaments staged throughout the city (East St. Paul, Children's Hospital, Cambrian Credit Union Cup, Bounce Cup, etc.).
Maples’ family characteristic is supported by a volunteer board of directors (MRAI), by volunteer coaching at recreational levels, and by local youth referees.
We invite everyone to call the Community Centre or email us for information. We hope you enjoy the Maples community and the excitement and thrill of top quality youth soccer.
This year we especially need parents to coach, assist in coaching, and referee.
Remember, this is "our" community club, and the only way to guarantee success and ensure fun for our kids is to volunteer. We look forward to seeing you and your child out on the soccer field soon!
