Maples Kids Cricket Program Kicks Off its 2016/17 Winter Season
Maples Cricket had its 2016/17 winter kick-off at Leila North School on November 20th! 40 kids were in attendance for an afternoon of food, drinks and of course cricket games to celebrate the upcoming winter season. Parents, coaches, organizers and special guest City Councilor Devi Sharma were all in attendance.
The Maples cricket program has grown in a remarkably short period of time and has contributed to a growing interest and participation in sports and recreation programs at the Elwick Community Centre.
Congratulations go out to all the kids and parents, as well as to our Cricket Director-at-Large Felix Perera and organizers Derek Dabee and Roy Kampta! Below are a few photos of the event.
