Major Funding Announcement at the Maples!

Under the lights of television and newspaper media, representatives from all levels of government graced our gym on January 14th, 2010 as part of a major funding announcement.

The $600,000 project will see extensive work done on the south-east field located on the Maples/Seven Oaks grounds.

  Drop-in Centre / Equipment Coordinator(s)
  
  We are looking for a courteous / self motivated person(s) for a large community center. This person will be in charge of staffing and running the evening operations of the center. This is a part time evening position that could lead to full lime.
  
  Responsible for:
  
  

  • Staffing evening programs
  • All sports supplies (ordering and supplying programs with their needs)
  • Setup and Cleanup staff for events
  • To assist other directors with their programs as needed
    

Qualifications:

• Very organized and neat
• Work well with others
• Good communication skills
• Good understanding ofdiverse cultures
• Recreation minded
• Work well with youth and seniors
• Able to lift up to 50 lb
• Familiar with Excel and Word programs
